Bolt Fancharacters

This is a tribute to all Bolt fans! Here I've drawn all of the fan characters of Disney's movie Bolt that I could fit nicely in one picture. I found these on deviantART, so any non-dA fan characters obviously can't be seen here. I also stuck to dogs, though there are one or two great cat characters! Most of these are fan characters created by friends I've made, but one or two are just fan characters that have either been really popular or drawn multiple times by their creators, or just stuck out to me for originality's sake! 

If your character or your friend's character isn't in here, I'm so sorry! I really intended to draw all of the fancharacters that I could find, but in the end, I just ran out of room!

In order of appearance from left to right:

Shock - A former stray mutt OC created by me who exists in an AU where Bolt actually has superpowers and uses them to fight Dr. Calico! Shock becomes Bolt's rival when he is experimented on by the villains and is given a weaker version of Bolt's powers. He loves to run, hates pigeons, and Wolflily68 flatters me by having her OC, Jade, paired with him in some of her deviations!

Dolly - A 'kitpuppy', or dog-cat mix OC created by , also the halfling daughter of Bolt and Mittens! She used to be afraid of cars, but has since become athletic, and has two siblings! 

May - A German shepherd OC created by who thinks of herself as related to Bolt! She actually ended up being a sister to MusicalMutt2's Thunder, and has superspeed.

Star - is a golden retriever OC created by ! She's also got a cat love interest for Mittens named Milo. From her gallery, it looks to me like she had one or two different ideas for Star's breed, and the golden retriever is her latest.

Jade - A mixed breed stray OC living in Hollywood hills created by ! My buddy has a head canon that she and my OC would be a couple, if Shock were just an actor in the movie-verse of Bolt! She also designed a puppy of Jade's!

Boltie - A lookalike son-of-Bolt OC created by . He's got two siblings, is the runt of his litter, and, according to Cinemutt14, has inherited Bolt's love for Penny and Mr. Carrot!

Onyx - A fat fangirl corgi OC who's obsessed with the star of Rhino's favorite TV show, Bolt himself, created by . She was a stray puppy before being adopted by a man who would one day marry Penny's mom, adding Onyx into her hero's family!

Thunder - A German shepherd OC created by as the fellow housemate of Mittens before they were both abandoned and future mate of Bolt once she, Mittens, and Rhino all go to live with Penny at the end of the movie's events. According to Musicalmutt2, Thunder and Bolt have seven puppies together!

Blu - A Husky/Alaskan Klee Kai mix created by , originally a species-mix she called a 'kitpuppy' because Blu was designed as the halfling son of Bolt and Mittens! Blue has had eight other siblings by our favorite alley cat and delusional dog, and a fun fact about him is that he actually can't bark!

Madi - A Shiba Inu-Malamute mix created by , who was a stray and met Bolt after he went to live with Penny! Her breed was made up by StarGazingKitten, and this streetwise girl has a little love interest going on with Kendra, a German Shepherd OC created by Koyra-Himiko. 

I love Bolt. It's an amazingly heartfelt, wonderfully subtle movie, especially perfect for pet-owners! It didn't aim for being the greatest movie of all time, and that's not what it is, but everything in it was done with excellence.

I know that the current Bolt fandom, as in people who still actively draw fan art, write stories, or just talk about it, is tiny and dwindling. That's because there's just one movie to work off of and love, and it was produced quite a while ago, unlike Lion King or Sonic the Hedgehog or Walking Dead fandom's where there are several ongoing sequels and new material. But I think it's still worth being a fan of, and I love these fan characters!

Cubby, a kitpuppy son of Bolt and Mittens created by Prank-Master-Cubby.

Jet, a mischievous catlike kitpuppy and his sister Star, a more doglike kitpuppy who uses a doggie wheelchair because her hind legs are underdeveloped, also children of Mittens and Bolt, created by rfr67gal.

Benji, a male personality made for the black lab in the movie created by CarlMinez, who has a fanfic to go with it!
